To know applications of database and modern tools 2) To showcase the project idea and to motivate the students for their implementation of the project. A mini project competition for the course “Database Management System Lab” was conducted on 07th Nov 2022 organized by the Department of Computer engineering, K K Wagh Institute of Engineering and Education Research, Nashik and CSI students branch, KKWIEER Nashik. Prof. Yogita Kadam, Asst. Prof. K K Wagh Polytechnic, Nashik (Alumni) and Mr. Taral Pawar,Telestream, Software design engineer, Bangaluru (Alumni of 2021 batch) worked as judges for the competition. Total 12 groups participated(47 students) in the competition and the first 3 rankers were declared. The projects are from various domains such as Hospital management, Engineering Workshop Automation System, ShopLens etc Judges appreciated efforts and work done by the students. The activity was coordinated by Prof. S. K. Gondhalekar, Prof. Dr. Yogita Bhise and Prof. Megha Patil, Computer Engg. Dept., under the guidance of Head of Department Prof. Dr. S. S. Sane. Ms Sharanya helped to coordinate the event.
