Accreditation is a process by which educational programs or institutions are reviewed to determine if they meet certain standards of quality. It is a type of academic quality assurance, declaring to the relevant professional community and the world at large that a program meets the international quality standards set by the technical profession. Accreditation provides lasting benefits to students, the institute, employers, professionals, and society as a whole.
It is an assurance that the academicians and other staff of the institute have a solid educational foundation, and are capable of leading the way in innovation, and emerging technologies, and in anticipating the educational needs of the students. Students who graduate from an accredited institute have access to enhanced career opportunities.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of our institute has established a systematic process for quality assurance of its programs and has made sure that this process also leads to accreditation of its programs, in line with the standards set forth by NBA and NAAC. IQAC drives the following initiatives –

Development and application of quality benchmarks/objectives

Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty orientation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process

Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes

Organization of faculty training and seminars on quality-related themes

Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices

Conduction of academic and administrative audits in each semester and their compliance

Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters set by NAAC.
