The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik has ISTE students’ chapter since 2003. It is one of the most active chapters of the institute.

This Chapter organizes various events for overall development of the students. It organizes technical as well as social activities and other events which provide a good platform for the student’s to display their talents and develop various skills.

The IET – The Institution of Engineering and Technology is one of the world’s largest multidisciplinary professional bodies of engineers with the stated mission of working to engineer a better world. It is a volunteer-led organization driven by the needs of members, partner organizations, Academia and the larger society.

Computer Society of India (CSI)

The seed for the Computer Society of India (CSI) was first sown in the year 1965 with a handful of IT enthusiasts who were a computer user group and felt the need to organize their activities. They also wanted to share their knowledge and exchange ideas on what they felt were a fast emerging sector.

Today the CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India. The purposes of the Society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT.

ISHRAE Student Chapter

The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has over 28,780 HVAC&R professionals and Student-members. ISHRAE operates from over 55 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. K. K Wagh student chapter is installed for the academic year 2023-24.

ISHRAE Objectives

  • Advancement of the Arts and Sciences of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering and Related Services.
  • Continuing education of Members and other interested persons in the said sciences through Lectures, Workshops, Product Presentations, Publications and Expositions.
  • Rendition of career guidance and financial assistance to students of the said sciences.
  • Encouragement of scientific research.

Institution of Engineers (India)

The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] is the largest multi-disciplinary professional body of engineers, established in 1920 with its Headquarters located in Kolkata and incorporated under Royal Charter on 9th September, 1935 by the then His Majesty of King George V. The Royal Charter endowed the Institution with the responsibility to promote the general advancement of engineering amongst its members and persons attached to the Institution. After Independence, the Institution is a “Body Corporate” protected under Article 372 of the Constitution of India. The Institution of Engineers (India) is administered by a National Council with the President as its Head.

The student’s chapter is being constituted for initiating and imbibing the feeling of belongingness into fraternity of engineering to which the students of engineering are destined. This chapter provides a platform to showcase the talent of the students. It also helps to enrich their knowledge and skills by organizing lectures, seminar, technical discussions and industry visits.
