Brief Profile
Dr. Yennam Rajesh graduated with B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from MVGRCE (JNTU Hyderabad) Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh in 2007, M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from Andhra University Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh in 2009, and Ph.D (Chemical Engineering) from IIT Guwahati (2015). Since April 2021, I've been working as an Assistant Professor at the K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research in Nashik. Over here, my total teaching experience is two years and two months. Previously, I worked as a Research Associate in HPCL Green R&D Centre, Bangalore, Karnataka, India (from 2017 to 2021), and as an adhoc assistant professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at NIT Karnataka, Surathkal and NIT Calicut, Kerala, India from 2014 to 2017. My total experience is 9.7 years (5.2 years of teaching and 4.5 years of research and development). Six batches of students were mentored for their BE (Chemical Engineering) dissertations. I have filed an Indian Patent on Carbon Dots and 12 research papers have been published in various journals such as Journal of Molecular Liquids, Separation Science and Technology, Desalination and wastewater treatment, AQUA-IWA, Modeling Earth Systems and Environment, Journal of the Indian Chemical Society, Materials Today Proceedings (Elsevier) and 12 papers have been presented at national and international conferences, with 60+ citations. Member of the Editorial Boards of SCIENXT Journals such as Journal of Chemistry and Chemical Science and Journal of Polymer and Plastic Sciences, among others. Journal of Water Process Engineering, Separation Science and Technology, Desalination and wastewater treatment, and Materials Today Proceedings (Elsevier) are among the prestigious national and international journals that he has reviewed. Various IITs, NITs, IISERs, Universities, and Engineering Colleges hosted Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), GIAN seminars, and National and International conferences etc. Received the "Best Research Associate" award from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited Green Research and Development Centre, Bangalore (India), in 2020, as well as the "Best Library User among KKW Faculties" award from KKWIEER in 2021-2022. Life member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, Head Courters Kolkata, West Bengal, India. As a convener successfully organized the National Technical Symposium-23 (ChemFest-2k23) at Department of Chemical Engineering, KKWIEER, and Nashik Maharashtra.
