Brief Profile

Completed B.E. (Mechanical) from SRES, College of Engineering, Kopargaon in 2000, M.Tech (Energy Systems Engineering) from IIT Bombay in 2006 and Ph.D. from IIT Bombay in 2019 in the field of Heat Transfer. Working as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department of K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik since July 2013. Total teaching experience is over Twenty Two years. Taught courses such as Heat Transfer, Basic Thermodynamics, Internal Combustion Engines, Energy Audit and Management, etc. Worked on DRDO sponsored research project on Gas Turbine Blade Cooling during PhD and Biofuels in Engines as MTech project sponsored by Cummins India Ltd. Published 12 research papers in various reputed journals and International conferences with 40+ citations. Received Dr. V. M. K. Shastri best paper award at international ISHMT-ASTFE Heat and Mass Transfer conference held at ISRO, Trivandrum in December 2015. Worked as a resource person for workshops on Energy efficiency enhancement in thermal systems, engine technology. Trained supervisors of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., Nashik and Igatpuri on Engine and Emission control technologies. Organized workshops and trainings on Advances in Heat transfer, Engine technology and finance for engineers. Attended STTPs and FDPs on various thermal engineering courses and teaching skills. Life Member of ISHMT, ISME, ISTE and member of IET, SAE.
