Brief Profile
Dr. Vishal B Shinde is an accomplished academic in the field of Civil Engineering. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik, in 2013. Subsequently, he pursued a Master's Degree (M.E.) in Structural Engineering from the same institution in 2015. Driven by his passion for research and academia, he further pursued his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the esteemed Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (NIT Surat) in 2022. Since January 2022, He has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of K.K.Wagh Education Society's K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik. His academic journey has been complemented by 10 years of teaching experience and 3 years of industrial exposure, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of civil engineering. He is a life member of the Indian Road Congress (IRC), Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), and Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (ACCE).His scholarly endeavors include the presentation of 08 papers at national and international journals and conferences. He is actively associated with testing and consultancy work related to structural audit and testing services of various agencies like government, semi government and private sectors.
