Artificial Intelligence And Data Science

HOD's Message,

The AICTE, New Delhi has sanctioned a new degree program - BE (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science), with an intake of 120 students to K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik from the academic year 2020-2021. The curriculum for the course will be as designed by Savitribai Phule Pune University. With digitization, the IT sector today is a thriving field.

Across industries, there is a huge demand for Engineers who have knowledge and skills in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The department will thus offer this new program called Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to fulfill this demand.

This 4-year degree course consists of 8 semesters including Foundation and Core courses, Elective course in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Skill Development courses, Audit courses which include Foreign Language, MOOCs as well as Soft Skill courses, Seminars, Mini and Major projects, and Project-based learning.
