K K Wagh Education Society

K K Wagh Education Society is a leading educational trust in the state of Maharashtra

It was established in 1970 by the visionary leader Late Padma Shri Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh. He realized the importance of education for the upliftment of rural masses and started with a girls' school in Niphad Tehsil.

Earlier he was active in the development of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, which has been established as a centre of learning for over 100 years. He was also instrumental in setting up three cooperative sugar factories in the Nashik district. As a leader of farmers, he represented Niphad Tehsil in the state legislative assembly.

K K Wagh Education Society, later on, received 23 acres of land from the well-known Philanthropist, Late Ratansey Haridas Udeshi (Kakuseth) of Hirabai Hansaraj Surji Charitable Trust and was utilized by K K Wagh Education Society to establish an ideal Technical Campus.

This campus is named 'Hirabai Haridas Vidyanagari' in the name of his mother, ‘Hirabai Haridas’.

The picturesque campus houses the Engineering College, Polytechnic, Pharmacy, Sports ground, Gymnasium, Canteen, Guest Houses, Society Office, Hostels etc. Kakuseth has established many Schools, Colleges, Dispensaries, Dharam Shalas, Sanatoriums and Temples in many parts of India.

Later on other educational institutes in the field of Agriculture, Education, and Performing Arts were started on the campus at Saraswati Nagar, Nashik. English Medium Schools, Jr. College and CBSE Schools are also run by the trust in Nashik City & Niphad Tehsil. With the vision of empowering the youth through quality education, K K Wagh Education Society started colleges with faculties like Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Science etc. at Nashik, Pimplas (Ramache), Kakasahebnagar and Chandori. These colleges are useful for the children of farmers who are deprived of higher education due to the non-availability of colleges in their native places.

The objective of the K K Wagh Education Society is to provide quality education at an affordable cost. A quality culture has been developed in all the institutes.

All institutes have state-of-the-art laboratories with the latest equipment, computers & internet connectivity. Other facilities provided to the students include gymnasium and sports facilities, hostels for boys and girls, mess and canteen, transportation facility etc. Highly motivated and qualified faculty engaged in teaching, research, consultancy, training, testing and designing is a major strength of all the institutes.

A small sapling planted by Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh has grown into a full tree with 30 institutes having over 22,000 students engaged in studies from K.G. to Ph.D. in various fields. There are over 1,800 dedicated employees following Indian ethics and striving hard towards developing world-class institutes.
