K K Wagh Pragyan-Science Project Competition (Since 2013)

A Flagship Event Organized by K. K. Wagh Polytechnic, Nashik

K. K. Wagh Polytechnic Nashik has started प्रGyan Science-Exhibition in the year 2013 with an objective of promoting scientific temper, developing scientific approach amongst school going students and developing backward linkages with school.
The exhibition started as a District level event and has now become a much awaited event. The people start enquiring about the date of the event in advance. Usually it is held in 2nd or 3rd week of december. It has now become one of the flagship events of K K Polytechnic, Nashik.
During Covid Pandemic when the world was at standstill we held it in 2020 and 2021 in a Virtual manner wherein Participants, Judges, Guests and visitors participated and interacted in virtual manner.
It receives a lot of attention from Print and Electronic media. The news about the event has also featured in prime time news shown on DD Sahyadri.
Every year we contact about 2000 schools and junior colleges and get a huge response for this exhibition. About 150-200 projects are exhibited with 600 to 800 students participants.
An expert panel of judges may evaluate the projects based on criteria such as creativity, scientific accuracy, and presentation.
For this event we offer first, second & third prize ranging from Rs.11000, 8000, 6000 respectively with 4 consolation prizes of Rs.1000 each.
Every year we invite a renowned chief guest very well versed with Industry, Government system and academia.
The nature of the exhibition is kept as open for all. Any common man, school going students, teachers, industry persons, government officials as well as parents can visit the exhibition.
