Ganesha Utsav (Since 2015)

K. K. Wagh Education Society started Ganesh Utsav in all its institutes in the year 2015. Since then, all employees and students of the K.K. Wagh Education Society celebrate this charming event together.

Every year Ganesh Utsav is celebrated by choosing different themes like environment protection, yog-shastra, and ozone layer protection so that a positive and creative message can be spread across society. Different socio-cultural programs like Blood donation camps, Eco-friendly Ganesha idol making, help to blinds, and cloth distribution to the poor are arranged. Entertainment programs like Dhol-tasha and Lezim etc. are also performed.

The greatest care is taken to avoid any kind of environmental pollution. All these activities are completed with the help of our college students. The active participation of students makes them learn event management lessons. Mr. Ajinkya Wagh is actively involved in the management of this event.

Eco Friendly Ganesh Making Workshop

Every year before, Ganesh Chaturti K K Wagh Polytechnic participate and coordinates the Eco Friendly Ganesh Making Workshop was organized on 17th August 2025 for students from various schools and nearby areas participate, learn and make the Ganesh idol from Shadu Mati.

The workshop aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage the use of sustainable materials during festivals. Participants were guided on creating Ganesha idols using eco-friendly materials such as clay, avoiding harmful chemicals like plaster of Paris. The activity not only enhanced students’ creativity and artistic skills but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation and sustainable practices. More than 3000 participants all over the schools and colleges from K. K. Wagh Education Society participate in the workshop every year.
